Nocturn Audio was founded in 2026 by a producer who spent years fighting tools that almost worked. Almost flexible enough. Almost transparent enough. Almost deep enough. The gap between ‘almost’ and ‘exactly’ is where the real work lives.
We build audio software from the producer's side of the screen. Every parameter has a reason. Every control surface is designed for the person using it at 2 AM with headphones on, trusting their ears. No filler features. No bloat. No compromise.
Our first product — FAT-X3 — is a multiband saturation and dynamics plugin with 113 automatable parameters, 11 ADAA-smooth distortion algorithms per band, Class-A tube saturation, transformer coloring, up to 8× oversampling, and a 24-band master EQ with slopes to 96 dB/oct. It's everything we wished existed in one window.
This is just the beginning. We're building a community around shared presets, earned rewards, and tools that get better the more people use them. If you make music, you belong here.
